Have you ever spent valuable time looking for that one email stuck in a chain of like 30? Or have you ever sent a round of revisions to your design or development team to then realize you missed something—having to re-send that round—and then hoped it was clear which set of revisions you actually wanted implemented? I’m feeling stressed just having written that last question. We used to deal with these issues all of the time. That was before we learned about online project management portals. Say what? They’re online systems used to keep individual projects organized—filing all messages, revisions, files, and deadlines into tabs and categories (it’s AWESOME!). There’s many of these systems out there—we choose to use Basecamp. It’s super simple to use. You receive the messages from Basecamp to your email—you can even reply from your email, and that message is sent to Basecamp. Pretty cool. So today, Katie, our project manager, is going to quickly take you through Basecamp for a quick tutorial on how it’s done. Take it away, Katie.
