Shovel Creative is happy to introduce our newest team member, Steven Lutz. Steve will reside as Shovel’s senior in-house front-end web developer. Moving from New York to join us, Steve is happy to trade-in the east coast freeze for California’s sunny breeze. Here are some fun facts about Mr. Lutz:

If you could sing one song on American Idol, what would it be and why?
Ocean by Slightly Stoopid. This is a great one of their songs and I think it would be fun to sing it.

What do you do for fun (besides work at Shovel Creative)?
I enjoy the outdoors. My favorite outdoor activity is riding motocross. I also enjoy mountain biking, hiking, or going on road trips. It’s always fun to check out a new place you’ve never been before.

If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be and why?
That’s an interesting question. I think the pelicans in San Diego have a great view of the ocean and beaches as they fly along the shores. So maybe I would be a pelican because it would be a cool perspective to experience.

What is your favorite beer?
That’s a tough one. I would have to say Heady Topper or anything from Hill Farmstead (both out of Vermont).

What band you can’t live without?

Excited to have you onboard Steve! And glad you can’t live without Sublime. Because every other song on the radio in San Diego is by that band.
